When Luciel's musicians realized one day how effortlessly they found a common sound, the band's foundation was inevitable. The goal of a common studio record stood since then in the foreground. After countless hours of collective songwriting, producing, mixing and a few concerts later, the album is almost finished and Luciel has become a kind of musical home for the 4 Cologne musicians, where they share their passion for good handmade (pop) music.

The influences are extremely diverse and range from acoustic traditions of different continents to electronic music. United in the power of the common pulse, Luciel transports the sounds of past epochs with ease into the present.

Luciel's songs deal with the large and small themes of individual search for meaning, but also pose socio-critical, political questions about a life worth living together. The band spans the various narratives with pulsating, dance-like figures of great attraction.
